Inlet barrier filtration actuators to be designed and manufactured at CEF Industries’ Addison Facility

Addison, IL. Diversified Aerospace designer and manufacturer, CEF Industries, LLC, has been selected by Airbus Helicopters to design, develop, test, and supply the inlet barrier filter (IBF) actuators on the H-160 helicopter. Each H-160 will use two IBF actuators.

Under the contract CEF will provide all production and aftermarket support for the fleet. CEF supplies similar actuators on the EC135/145, Bell 407, Bell 429 and Bell 525 programs.

CEF Industries, LLC designs and manufactures mechanical and electro-mechanical aerospace components. It has over 65 years of experience providing these products to the aerospace industry. Capabilities include primary & secondary flight control actuation, utility actuation, actuated landing lights, compressors for potable and waste water systems, pumps for avionics cooling, gear boxes for actuation drive systems, and mechanical components for cargo handling systems. CEF’s manufacturing facility is located in Addison, IL.

Addison, IL. Diversified Aerospace designer and manufacturer CEF Industries LLC, has been selected by Donaldson Company to design, develop, test, and supply the air inlet filtration actuators for the MH-47 helicopter.
